Edinburgh Tattoo Short Break

0

Edinburgh Tattoo – 3 night short breaks from 6th August

The Tattoo is not just a Scottish show, nor is it confined to music. Over the years, it has presented a whole host of international performers – military and civilian – from 30 countries. With the lone piper playing his haunting lament high on the ramparts above the esplanade, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is guaranteed to be an experience that you will never forget.

2010 marks the Diamond Jubilee Year of Scotland’s colourful military musical spectacular. As always, the exciting programme will include probably its two most popular items – the music of the Massed Pipes and Drums and that of the Massed Military Bands plus a celebration of talent from four continents including pipers, gymnasts, singers, dancers and an amazing motorcycle display team. There will be ample time to enjoy the delights of Edinburgh’s beautiful attractions and fabulous shopping and to soak in the atmosphere of the amazing Edinburgh Festival and Fringe.

Package includes entry to Edinburgh Castle with an audio guide, a ticket for a tour of The Royal Yacht Britannia plus a copy of the special 60th anniversary edition of the Tattoo programme.

Saturday performances will be followed by a fireworks display.

The package includes 3 night’s accommodation with breakfast from Friday with a top, 2nd or 3rd price ticket to the Tattoo (starting at 10.30pm) on the 2nd night of your stay.
